Cranio-Sacral Therapy (CST)
Cranio-Sacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that works with the craniosacral system — the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.
By attuning to the subtle rhythms of this system, CST helps release restrictions, restore fluid movement, and reconnect the body with its innate blueprint for health. This quiet, deeply restorative work supports the nervous system in finding balance and allows the body’s natural healing intelligence to emerge.
Cupping Massage
Cupping is a form of Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM). Silicone cups help create a vacuum that pulls soft tissue away from underlying structures, helping release myofascial restrictions and increasing local circulation to support tissue health. Temporary painless marks resembling bruises will sometimes appear after cupping therapy. These are due to the unlocking of stagnant blood/fluid and typically disappear within a week post-treatment.
Deep Tissue Massage
Best used to help alleviate certain painful, stiff “trouble spots” in your body. The massage therapist uses slow, deliberate strokes that focus pressure on layers of muscles, tendons, or other tissues deep under your skin.
Fertility Massage
Enjoy a relaxing massage to ease your nervous system and enhance blood flow to enhance fertility. This work is informed by training in Arvigo™ Techniques of Abdominal Therapy and over 15 years experience working with people on their fertility journeys around the world. These sessions are great for people on their journey to becoming pregnant including IVF and other fertility support. There is a short intake to make sure the session and plan is tailored for your needs.
Hot Stone Massage
Hot stone massage is a type of massage therapy that involves the use of smooth, heated stones. The massage therapist places the hot stones on specific points on your body, and may also hold the stones while giving the massage. The localized heat and weight of the stones warms and relaxes muscles, allowing the massage therapist to apply deeper pressure to those areas without causing discomfort.
Lymphatic Enhancement Massage
Lymphatic Massage, sometimes called Manual Lymph Drainage (MDL),
is a gentle and effective technique to help reduce inflammation in the body by enhancing the circulation of lymph through the body.
Unlike most massage modalities, this modality requires a light touch with a repetitive
stretching of the superficial lymph vessels below the skin.
This helps stimulate fluid circulation away from the extremities and back towards the heart.
Slightly deeper techniques are used to stimulate the flow of lymph through
the abdomen, armpit and inguinal regions.
Structural Integration
Structural Integration (SI) is a system of manual therapy and movement education that improves the body’s alignment by working with fascia (connective tissue) to create long-lasting freedom from chronic pain and increased ease of movement.
Infant Massage

This practice promotes bonding, stimulates healthy baby development, sensory awareness and helps alleviate common discomforts. Your instructor will be demonstrating the techniques on a doll and you get to practice on your baby –or on a doll if baby is asleep or not in the mood.
Somatic Movement Therapy
Restoring connection through body-led awareness
Somatic Movement Therapy is a gentle, body-based approach that encourages awareness, regulation, and reconnection through breath and movement. This work supports the release of stored tension and fosters a greater sense of safety and embodiment.
Rather than focusing on form or performance, somatic movement honors the body’s natural intelligence—helping clients return to a felt sense of home within themselves.
Labor Stimulation Massage
Done after 40 weeks gestation and with consent from a health care provider, this treatment is done to help stimulate the onset of labor by using massage, specific meridian points, a safe blend of essential oils, homeopathic remedies, and a big dose of relaxation!
Polarity Therapy
A holistic approach to balance and vitality
Polarity Therapy is a deeply somatic and integrative healing modality that works with the natural flow of energy in and around the body. Combining touch, movement, and awareness, this approach supports balance across all levels—physical, emotional, mental, and energetic.
In addition to hands-on work, Polarity Therapy invites an exploration of the attitudes, beliefs, and habitual patterns that shape your health and nervous system. These patterns often influence how we relate to ourselves, to others, and to the world around us. Sessions may include supportive movement practices (Polarity Yoga), breathing techniques, and energy-based exercises that promote self-regulation and coherence. Nutritional insights may also be offered along with an exploration of your relationship to food—not only as sustenance, but as a vital force that nourishes both body and soul.
Polarity Therapy encourages presence, self-awareness, and embodied connection. At its core, it supports your return to a natural state of vitality, resilience, and inner harmony.
Perinatal Somatic Therapy
Supporting early imprint healing and nervous system regulation
Perinatal Somatic Therapy addresses the impact of early life experiences—such as birth, in-utero development, or adoption—on the nervous system and core identity. These early patterns are stored in the body and can influence our sense of safety, belonging, and relationship dynamics.
Using gentle, body-centered techniques, this work helps access and integrate these foundational imprints. Sessions are slow unfold at a pace guided by the client’s readiness and the body’s wisdom.
Pre and Postnatal massage
Prenatal massage offers great comfort and support. It improves blood, lymph, and other body flows involved in the growing and changing pregnant body. It supports the mothers mood, improves, sleep, decreases stress and pain.
Postpartum massages include many of the same elements of regular massage. Women who receive massage after giving birth typically notice numerous benefits to their body and mood, which help with postpartum healing.

See what people are saying about us
“As a traditionally-trained physician, I have been underwhelmed with
available treatments for my autoimmune arthritis. I have been seeing Mary Justus
for nearly a decade now, and her treatments are by far the single factor
responsible for improving my quality of life. Her energy is finely tuned as a
compassionate, caring and deeply soothing presence. Mary is truly an
angel.”

The massage 100% lived up to the name of the practice and I will definitely be scheduling again soon! Laura Lee’s intuition with specific areas in need (because of the unique requirements of my job) was unprecedented and left me reminded of what it feels like to not have neck pain. Thank you for your skill and sensitivity!

I recently had an amazing session with Jo. She was beyond lovely, knowledgeable, and welcoming. I felt entirely comfortable with her and am amazed by the results of our session. I highly recommend her and her healing touch.

Courtney gave what is almost certainly the best massage I’ve ever had. She relieved some horrible pain in my back and neck that had been interrupting my sleep. Then she did a nifty relaxation number on my neck and scalp. Pressure was deep but not painful. She’s a hero 🙂

Emily Madara is amazing—skilled, kind, and wise in her approach to balancing the body.

Restoring Balance is a TREMENDOUS GIFT to the community. From my very first interaction with the team to my regular massages with Kathy, Restoring Balance is simply the best. Highly recommend!

Let’s start with this – the result of the treatment at Restoring Balance was that the next morning I was moving about with far less difficulty and stiffness. I realize now that I was so used to the pain that I’d forgotten what it was like to not have it. Jenn was very attentive and easy to be with. It was clear she had really listened to me explain my problems and was really trying to help me – it was not treatment by rote steps. So I am looking forward to getting back there again soon.

I have been receiving massages from Kathy for the past month. I reached out to her for postpartum care and I am so glad I found her. As an individual, she is gentle and kind and as a massage therapist, she is the best of the best. As a massage therapist, she is incredible. I have felt relief in pains that were even present before pregnancy. She nailed my sciatica pain and gave me so much relief that I hadn’t experienced in Months. I recommend her one hundred percent. You are in safe hands if you work with Kathy!

Kathy is kind and generous and her Thai yoga massage is transformational. I’ve had many massages in the past but none get the knots out like her Thai massage.
